Originally, I purchased this charger about a year ago for a pair of 12V 100 Ah Ampere branded lithium ion batteries for my kayak. The original charger was ok, but I did have some problems with it. The alligator clips were flimsy and had to be replaced and the charger was a workhorse for over a year, probably running 100-150 cycles until it finally burned out. I contacted Ampere and corresponded with Jackie, who sent me a replacement charger, even though I think the warranty period had expired (it probably helped that I had purchased Ampere batteries, too). The new charger has been redesigned with better clips and is more streamlined… it worked great at charging my batteries. Good product and great customer service from Ampere!
